During the operation of industrial boilers and combustion equipment, nitrogen oxides (NOx) are the main source of air pollution.
Through urea aqueous solution denitrification technology, NOx can be reduced to harmless nitrogen (N₂) and water vapor (H₂O).
Principle of denitrification technology
SCR (selective catalytic reduction)
Spray the urea solution into the flue and promote the reaction through the catalyst.
- Reaction temperature: approximately 300–450°C
- Features: Extremely efficient, suitable for high standard emission requirements.
SNCR (selective non-catalytic reduction)
Inject urea directly into the high temperature furnace area of the boiler.
- Reaction temperature: approximately 850–1100°C
- Features: Simple equipment, low cost, no catalyst required.
