Even with the COVID-19 pandemic, Chairman Yang Lianzhi, the 27th outstanding alumnus of the Department of Chemical Engineering of Tunghai University, returned to his alma mater to encourage his younger brothers and sisters to seize the golden period of school, cultivate their own professional skills and accumulate precious interpersonal bankbooks with a positive learning attitude and a spirit of innovation, and learn how to become winners in life.
Tunghai University is a university that combines humanities, professionalism, localization, internationalization, gathering of masters, innovation and sustainable development. It specially invites Yang Lianzhi, a 27th grade alumnus and current chairman of Nova Materials Technology, to give a speech at his alma mater. Chairman Yang used the topic "How to Become a Winner in Life" and shared that he gave up the halo of foreign business and high salary in the past, and started to pursue his own dreams at the age of 39. From the ups and downs in the early days of entrepreneurship to a unicorn that has stabilized the market, the purpose is to implement the concept of "clean air". Last year, it reduced nitrogen oxide emissions to the earth by nearly 18,000 tons, and the carbon reduction effect is amazing! Chairman Yang Lianzhi’s wonderful sharing received enthusiastic responses from the teachers and students present.
