Nova was invited to the "Sustainability × AI Foresight Forum" of Tunghai University's Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemical Materials Alumni Association to focus on industrial transformation and future materials development

The Alumni Association of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemical Materials of Tunghai University recently held the "Sustainability × AI Foresight Forum Symposium", inviting representatives from academia and industry to exchange views on sustainable development, artificial intelligence applications, and future trends in the industry. The forum discussion time is from 11:20 to 12:00. Through cross-generational and cross-field dialogue, we will share the opportunities and challenges faced by the chemical industry, chemical materials, environmental engineering and petrochemical industries in the face of global industrial changes.
In addition to Yang Lianzhi, 27th class chairman of Nova Materials Technology Co., Ltd., friends from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemical Materials of Tunghai University were invited to this forum, as well as Gu Yang (19th class, chair professor of the Department of Environmental Engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology), Xu Fangming (24th class, related fields of environmental safety engineering at Yunlin University of Science and Technology) and Lin Keyan (18th class, general manager of Formosa Plastics Petrochemical) as panellists. The four panelists come from different fields such as academic research, environmental safety engineering, and industrial management. Through their own professional and practical experience, they discussed how enterprises can respond to the requirements of environmental responsibility and sustainable governance while pursuing operational efficiency and innovative growth.
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, AI has gradually extended from a single technical tool to multiple scenarios such as research and development, process management, energy use, risk prediction and decision support. For the chemical and materials industry, how to effectively integrate AI with existing professional technology, data management and on-site experience, and further improve safety, quality, efficiency and resource utilization efficiency, has become an important issue in industrial upgrading.
Nova Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has long been concerned about the connection between materials technology, industrial innovation and sustainable development, and continues to think about how to respond to market demands and environmental challenges with professional technology. This forum not only provides a platform for exchanges and experience inheritance between department friends, but also highlights the importance of industry-university cooperation and cross-field dialogue. In the future, NOVAX will continue to focus on the development directions of AI, low-carbon processes and sustainable materials, and work with industry partners to explore material technology solutions with more resilience, efficiency and sustainable value.
