2024 Taiwan International Water Week Nova MVR technology attracts exchanges and discussions from all walks of life

Recently, the 2024 Taiwan International Water Week, hosted by the Association of Foreign Trade, made its grand debut at the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, attracting hundreds of companies to participate in the exhibition and setting up nearly 200 booths. The exhibition focused on the two main themes of "smart water and sustainable water". Industry personnel from all over the world came to visit. They were not only amazed by Taiwan's advanced industrial technology, but also successfully implemented various business models.
"Water" is not only the most important survival factor for the human body, but also indispensable for industrial applications. However, according to JPMorgan Chase, the daily water consumption of the AI data center in 2030 will reach 450 million gallons, which is equivalent to the water of 681 Olympic-standard swimming pools. Therefore, how to make water sustainable and intelligent use, or use technological and environmentally friendly water production and other solutions to effectively solve the upcoming major water shortage test.

Furthermore, as the global ESG concept rises and becomes more important, how to effectively reuse water resources is also an important foundation for the sustainable development of the industry. In view of this, Nova Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has launched a new generation of multi-effect energy-saving evaporator - MVR evaporator (mechanical vapor recompression technology). It is aimed at wastewater treatment and waste liquid concentration in the manufacturing industry. Through wastewater recycling and reuse, it can achieve zero wastewater discharge and convert wastewater into regenerated pure water with a purity of up to 5ppm or less, with a utilization rate of up to 100%.

Now, in order to protect Taiwan's beautiful natural environment, Nova also regards it as a major corporate mission. It is currently actively promoting MVR wastewater produced by semiconductor manufacturers, steel industries, etc., and customizes systems according to customer needs, and improves treatment efficiency through the best systematic equipment. The premise is that MVR does not add chemicals and produces reusable water, reducing the manufacturer's treatment costs."

Lin Yixing, marketing director of Nova Materials Technology Co., Ltd., said: "Compared with major foreign MVR manufacturers, when we use mechanical vapor recompression, the energy required for each ton of wastewater processed is about 40-60 units of electricity, but the device developed and designed by Nova only requires 8-2 units of electricity for each ton of wastewater processed. 8 kilowatt-hours of electricity is obviously almost one-third that of foreign countries. It can be seen that it can save energy and simultaneously treat wastewater. In addition, this equipment is small in size, has a short installation time, is manufactured and assembled locally, and does not have the problem of high import costs. It is in line with the optimization of choices and the implementation of the spirit of circular economy.”
