Saudi Arabia SABIC Inc. visited Nova Materials Technology Co., Ltd.

A total of 5 foreign guests including SABIC Inc. (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation) of Saudi Arabia and Deputy General Manager of Taiwan Fertilizer Good Tim came to visit Nova Materials Technology on May 5, 2014. Chairman Yang Lianzhi personally received them for meetings and exchanges. During the meeting, through simple and pragmatic and detailed introductions and explanations of the company's current situation, foreign guests could further understand Nova Materials and the future development of internationalization. In addition, foreign guests also exchanged views on laboratory measurement methods to improve the level of bilateral research and strictly monitor the quality of urea raw materials. Both parties are very interested in the topics discussed, continue to share ideas, and are optimistic about strengthening substantive cooperation in the future and developing it into a global partnership.
SABIC Inc. is the main supplier of urea raw materials in the Middle East and the second largest chemical supplier in the world. With annual revenue of US$60 billion and an annual urea supply of 4.5 million metric tons, it has a certain influence on the world's urea supply. SABIC's Jubail plant is 50% owned by Taiwan Fertilizer. In the past 10 years, due to the rise in global urea prices, Taiwan Fertilizer's annual backwash benefits are also considerable! In June 2014, the Jubair plant invested US$50 million in an automotive-grade urea raw material (SABIC calls it TGU) production line and began mass production. Novava is the main manufacturing supplier of AdBlue® in Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific region, so SABIC is actively seeking support from Novavax.

During this visit, Saudi Arabia's SABIC Inc. expressed its deep support and affirmation for the quality of Nova's products, its efforts in experimental quality control and its future development direction. General Manager Huang of Taipei Fertilizer Company hosted a banquet at Taipei Regent Hotel on May 5 for representatives of SABIC Inc. and Nova's senior executives. The visit ended successfully in a pleasant atmosphere.
